Dave is a 20 year veteran sound mixer, with many worldwide touring credits. Currently retired from active touring, sound company work experience includes six years at Carlson Audio Systems in Seattle, (and still a member of the Carlson team) five years at PPA Inc in Southern California and four and a half years as the Systems Manager at Proshow USA, Seattle. Specializing in large scale sound reinforcement, Dave is a pioneer and proponent of intelligent sound systems. This experience includes tours with the commercially available sound system control protocols, QSControl II, Lone Wolf VNOS and Crown IQ. Stevens is a Crown IQ Certified technician. In the Fall of 2000, Dave and Ken Berger (co founder and formerly of EAW/Mackie) formed Universal Concept Inc, to build the worlds largest pro audio Internet services company and portal. Dave currently oversees the UCI Internet data center in Seattle, WA.
